What is TPI Golf Training

TPI's goal is to help its clients enhance their overall health, wellness, and performance including their golf game. The TPI method of Training helps people understand how their bodies work and how each part of the body functions as a part of an integrated system.

TPI is all about helping golfers swing the club more efficiently, improving their ball speed and hitting different shots with ease.

TPI's Golf Training programs focus on three key components - Mobility, Stability and Strength - because TPI believes that these three components must be present in order for a golf swing to be efficient and effective.

TPI's work is based on research that shows that if any of these key components are lacking, the body will compensate, potentially leading to injury.

TPI Golf Training is designed to enhance performance of amateurs by making them stronger and more flexible.

Simply put, this is a fitness program specifically designed to address and improve your body in

relation to your golf swing.

It all starts with an initial assessment.

Lori will first put you through the Titleist Performance Institute Golf Assessment. This is a 60-minute assessment that involves a 13-point physical evaluation which will address your physical capabilities and relate them to your golf swing. You will then be given a personalized strength and flexibility program to address your needs. Then, if applicable, based on you goals, Lori will also do a cardio capacity assessment to look for ways to improve the stamina needed to cover a tournament or long 36 hole day.

Let's Be Clear. Lori is not a swing coach.

She will not do any assessment of your golf swing.

This is simply identifying specific and targeted training that, based on the

assessment, will improve and enhance the swing you already have through improved

strength, mobility and cardio capacity.

STEP 1 - The Assessment

The Initial Assessment Includes:

  • Brief health Screening

  • 13-Step TPI Movement Screening

  • Assessment result review

  • A prescribed exercise plan to address any identified issues.

Assessment Price: $50

*If a personal training package is purchased, the $50 assessment fee will be credited towards that purchase

Step 2 - Select Your Training Solution

Option 1

Personal Training

Lori will work with your schedule to help you implement the recommended stretches and exercises taken from the assessment. Each session is 45 minutes with discounts available for packages of 8, 12 and 16 Sessions

Option 2

TPI Golf Fitness Group Class

Lori leads a group fitness class at Rock City Complete Fitness that focuses on the the mobility and strength needed to improve your golf swing and stamina. Based on your assessment, you will be able to not only build strength, but cardio stamina as well.

The TPI Group Class is Tuesday & Thursday

6:45p to 7:30p

Option 3

Workout on Your Own

The TPI Assessment will give the you feedback you need to build your own workout plan. There will be suggested movements and exercises that, if you apply them yourself in your current gym, you will improve your mobilty, stability, and strength.
